Welcome to Om Wellness. We are happy you have decided to start your yoga practice with us. Here is some helpful information for first time students:
Class Type | Description |

Yoga Basics | Great for beginners and ongoing students that want to revisit the fundamentals of yoga. Poses are broken down to the basics with emphasis on alignment, balance, flexibility and the use of breath. |
Mixed level yoga | Not for a beginner. Moving from pose to pose linking breath with movement. Class can be in a flow format. Helps build strength, balance, stimulates the nervous system and reduces stress. Students can practice with modifications. |
Restorative gentle yoga | Yoga done with props, like blankets and bolsters to encourage gentle stretching. Poses are held longer to help the body relax. Helps relieve back pain, fatigue, stress and brings a sense of calmness. Good for all levels. |
Chair yoga | Gentle yoga practiced with the help of a chair for support and balance. |
Yoga flow | Moving from one pose to another with the breath. Working all muscle groups by repeating the poses. Helps the joints and ligaments. Great for toning the muscles. |
